Even though our story begins in Houston, Texas, Kas took shape and was formed in Wilmington, Delaware, where we received our first review and awards. Our success was from our many customers we served in Pennsylvania, Texas. The owner-Kimberly Wingate, worked in the pastry kitchens of Walt Disney Resorts-mainly Dolphin/Swan, Grand Floridian, Boardwalk Cafe Resorts. Our style is Southern Creole, which shares a cooking heritage with the Caribbean. Every dessert from KAS is made with European butter, never shortening, we use only unbleached non bromated flour, no hydrogenated oils, only seasonal fresh fruit and spices.
